Service Information

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, 2:30 p.m. at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal, 355 Harris Ave, Bellingham WA . Free parking will be available.

Bob passed away on January 18, 2024 at home in Bellingham, WA surrounded by family.  He was born in O’Neil Nebraska on November 16, 1935 to Madison and Ethel (Sanders) Henifin.  The family moved to Bellingham in 1942.  He worked lawn maintenance and construction.

He met and married his first wife Myrna Fullner in 1955.  In their 13 years together they had four children; Sandi (Alan Brown), Sue (Mike Booth), Bob Jr. and Dale.  In 1968 Bob met Patricia (Trish) (Shelley) and they married in 1970.  Together they had two children; Carrie (Dan Miller) and Shane.

Bob loved the outdoors and spent many years hunting and fishing and boating.  He was a member of the Antique Automobile Restorers Club and attended many functions and car shows.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Madison and Ethel, brother Donovan, sister Nadine Harmon, and sons Shane and Dale.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Trish) of 53 years, sister Sharon Karlberg, and children Bob Jr, Sandi Sanders (Alan Brown), Sue (Mike Booth) and Carrie (Dan Miller), seven grand-children, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in his name to Whatcom Hospice Foundation in honor of their loving care for Bob.
